About TANAMERA Tanamera, in the language of the Malays, literally means Red Earth, an appropriate name for a range of products which raw materials are sourced from the rich soil of the tropical rainforest. Our unique products are formulated as naturally as possible where the use of artificial coloring, perfume, chemical actives and preservatives are avoided. Our range of products is created with great care based on Asian tropical spa treatments and packed for home, travel and professional spa use.About TANAMERA MarketSince the inception of Tanamera in 2003, it has gained a market share in the beauty and spa industry abroad, particularly in Germany, Denmark, Australia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and United States. We expect Tanamera to further expand in the current market and new markets such as China and other parts of Europe. Tanamera was brought back to Malaysia at the end of 2006 and since then have expanded to 8 retail outlets in department stores around Malaysia. At the same time, Tanamera have established itself as the premier spa products provider to many hotel and day spas all over Malaysia.Researching and designing a concept of Malaysian spa seems to be the next natural step for Tanamera. Thus the concept of Tanamera Wellness Spa was born in late 2007. In July 2008, the first Tanamera Wellness spa was opened in Kuala Lumpur through our collaboration with private entrepreneurs. At present, 5 Tanamera spas have opened their doors in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Terengganu. Tanamera Wellness Spas provides affordable spa treatments in an ethnic chic setting. Tanamera spa menu are revival of ancient Malay treatments and beauty secrets delivered by well-trained and qualified Malaysian therapists. About Tanamera productsTanamera concept was created to be all natural from top to bottom. Tanamera products natural formulations are packaged in unbleached recycled paper with infusion of local Malaysian designs, albeit with a modern twist. No toxic chemicals, artificial coloring, fragrance and chemical preservatives are used in Tanamera products. At present Tanamera retail range has approximately 80 core products not inclusive of spa accessories. Tanamera also offers about 60 professional products to be used in Spa treatments along with a list of treatments database Spas can access into. Tanamera products focus on ingredients that can be found in the tropical belt with leaning towards Malay beauty treatments.Most of Tanamera products come in powder form eliminating the need to use chemicals and preservatives. Those that comes in liquid or paste form are preserved with a patented blend of herbal actives and essential oils preservative. All Tanamera products are identified with icons showcasing our natural formulations:We are proud to say that we were conferred the Good Design Award (G-Mark) by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO) in 2005. G-Mark Japan's only synthetic design evaluation / recommendation system which is based on Good Design Selection System established by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Japan in 1957.Tanamera products, apart from being Halal certified, are manufactured in our parent company facility, which is ISO, and GMP certified thus ensuring products of the highest quality.We strongly believe that Tanamera has the potential to be a leading natural product worldwide.
